Bull Market
A sustained period of rising prices and optimism, historically arriving in crypto roughly every four years — and ending in euphoria.
A bull market is a sustained uptrend: rising prices, growing volume, expanding media attention and increasingly confident forecasts. Crypto’s bull phases have historically clustered in the 12–18 months after each halving — 2013, 2017, 2021 and 2024–25 — though each cycle’s gains have shrunk as the market matured.
Late-stage bulls share warning signs: parabolic price curves, meme coin manias, “this time is different” theories, and extreme greed on sentiment gauges like the Fear & Greed Index. The uncomfortable truth: most participants only recognize a bull market’s end in hindsight, which is why exit plans made in advance beat vibes.
